**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance**:
*Planning and execution of all requested and planned preventative maintenance tasks. *Recordkeeping of and communication to relevant parties of all outages and status of current maintenance tasks. *Repairs and general handyman tasks. *Cannabis facility equipment maintenance including maintenance of pumps, dehums, drains, steam units, hvac equipment, fcs, mua, irrigation to be executed or coordinated with approved contractors. *Planning and execution of snow removal in collaboration with snow clearing contractor. *Maintenance, organization, and ordering of required tools. *Consumable inventory organization and ordering. *Coordination of shipping and receiving activities. *Arrange and oversee waste collection pickups. *Coordinate, oversee, and support trades contractors when on site.

**Security**:
*Internal/external loss prevention, investigation, and reporting. *Monitor and maintain the security system in collaboration with the security contractor. *Oversee security training and ensuring compliance for staff and visitors.

**Sanitation**:
*Execution of laundry in collaboration with linens provider. *Inventory management, ordering, restock, and resupply of sanitation inventory. *Coordinate general (non-departmental) facility sanitation in collaboration with cleaning contractor.

**General management**:
*Oversee general hiring and training in the facilities department or for facilities procedures. *Source for approval and oversee contracts for service providers. *Oversee building projects and renovations. *Manage facilities budget with an eye for minimizing costs.

**Qualifications and Education**:
*Experience with the Microsoft office suite. *Forklift experience is considered an asset. *General handyman experience is considered an asset. *Plumbing experience is considered an asset. *Basic electrical experience is considered an asset. *HVAC experience is considered an asset. *Security clearance is considered an asset.

**Preferred Skills**:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Proactive with a willingness to learn. *Ability to work well with mínimal supervision. *Analytical mind with well-developed problem-solving skills. *Attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture. *Commercial awareness. *Time management skills including being able to handle a complex, varied workload. *An interest in systems development.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $28.00 - $36.00/hour.
