**The Opportunity**
We’re looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Executive Lead to accelerate our sales growth while helping to build out our sales function. In this hybrid role, you’ll balance individual sales execution with team leadership and strategy.
You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle — from discovery calls and demos to closing deals and expanding accounts — while also shaping how our sales team grows. As a member of the leadership team, you’ll bring insights from the field into strategy discussions, support the development of sales metrics and reporting, and help chart the company’s growth path.

**What You’ll Do**
**Sales Execution**
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue objectives
- Lead intro calls, discovery conversations, proposals, pitches, and product demos
- Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle to signed purchase orders (new, renewals, expansions)
- Manage and grow client relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Act as a client advocate internally, ensuring needs and feedback inform company strategy
**Team Leadership & Growth**
- Build, coach, and mentor a small team of account executives as the sales function expands
- Collaborate with regional sales reps across North America to enhance market access and client engagement
- Define and refine sales playbooks, processes, and tools to support scalable growth
**Leadership & Reporting**
- Actively participate in leadership team meetings, contributing insights on sales strategy and market trends
- Provide input into the development of key sales metrics and performance dashboards
- Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility to the CFO and leadership team
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales execution with company goals
**What We’re Looking For**
- 3+ years of wastewater treatment or water industry experience
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with measurable quota success, ideally with 1+ years in a lead or team-building role
- Proven success in closing deals and expanding accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Skilled at pipeline management, forecasting, and disciplined CRM use
- Experience building or mentoring sales teams is strongly preferred
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient under pressure
- Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (sales training certifications an asset)
