TEAM for a Livable Vancouver was formed in August 2021 by people of all political backgrounds who hoped to create a more neighbourhood-friendly City Hall.

**Summary**

We are seeking a Team Coordinator to join our dynamic organization. This role is essential in supporting our initiatives and ensuring smooth operations over the summer months as we prepare for the municipal election in 2026. The Team Coordinator will play a pivotal role in increasing TEAM's profile and engaging with the community.

**Responsibilities**
- **Manage events** - assist with planning and organizing events according to TEAM requirements, including booking venues. Assist with events from preparation and set-up through teardown to ensure adherence to planned format, compliance with regulations, and overall satisfaction of participants.
- **Manage volunteers** - recruiting, organizing and scheduling volunteers.
- **Interface with TEAM Board Executive & Key Committees** - as necessary to discuss and plan event specifications such as scope, format, administrative details, and special requirements.
- **Produce & Share content** - Creating content and helping manage social media platforms and engage with our community online.
- **Neighbourhood TEAM setup** - Assist with organizing TEAM members into groups.

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in coordinating events or managing projects is an asset.
- Background in community support and volunteering.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and effective communication skills.
- Experience with campaign operations and/or political communications is an asset
- Strong digital and a/v equipment skills.
- Social Sciences and/or Humanities (political science, geography, history, economics)
- Commitment to TEAM’s values and platform
- Excellent writing skills

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 16 weeks

Pay: $27.05 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)

Work Location: In person
