Overview:

As a Match Retail National Field Manager you are responsible for managing a dedicated team of field sales representatives on a daily basis. You will be required to lead, train, coach, and motivate field sales staff to be the leading provider of exceptional sales and service. Achieving objectives in all key business indicators for Home Appliance, sales performance, is a big part of this role.
- $75,000K annual salary plus Bonus plan

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for achieving all key business objectives including sales, consumer experience, operational compliance.
- Create strategies for underperforming sales staff and locations and implementing solutions that are aligned to the overall business objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring that all employees have completed necessary training and coaching requirements.
- Manages schedule and staffed appropriately according to the published schedule.
- Responsible for ensuring all weekly reporting is submitted on time and is accurate, including analysis of numbers and action plans to address issues.
- Manage and coach all field sales representatives and supporting roles within the training team to ensure all KPIs are met and exceeded.
- Develop market initiatives that yield solid ROI with the client
- Conduct in field visits and managing of the field team expenses and payroll
- Conduct mystery shops on current team members and competition
- Work closely with our virtual training partners
- Meet with store level staff (RSA’s, General Managers etc.) to review the performance of our team and the results
- Ensure that all hiring is completed in a proactive manner using appropriate Match Retail guidelines as well responsible for retention and management of acceptable turnover rates.
- Establish administration of day-to-day area operations including weekly and quarterly field visit reports, communication to the team, performance management and HR related activities.
- Provide support to the Senior Training Manager for program operational components and participate in special projects as needed.
- Issue management for the field, being the first point of contact for client and Match Retail
- Communicate and lead the execution of the national program calendar of activities and responsibilities including capacity planning and best practices in their respective region(s)
- Responsible for representing both the client’s brand and Match Retail
- Conduct weekly meetings with the following:

- Weekly meetings with the client
- Weekly business reviews with Senior Director, Retail
- 1:1’s with FSR’s and training team

Participates in special projects as needed

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent an asset
- Strong management, coaching, and leadership skills, developed in a retail organization; within the wireless or electronics sector an asset
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in retail
- Ability to proactively support recruiting and hiring as needed
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills in order to effectively train and motivate team members
- Detail-oriented and results-focused with proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a demonstrated sense of urgency
- Strong understanding of the retail environment, including managing and building relationships with key partners, and merchandising capabilities
- Proven ability to drive sales, results and client service through a team
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends if required based on business needs
- Willing to travel around BC and Alberta
