**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The technical advisor is the main link between the customer and the service agents and technicians. He or she analyzes and understands customer needs, proposes effective solutions, and provides explanations on the operation and technical features of the various products. He or she establishes and maintains a bond of trust with customers, ensures their satisfaction and loyalty, and promotes the sale of parts and after-sales services.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Understanding and mastering the specifics of the various products and services offered
- Responsible for major customer accounts
- Listening to and analyzing customer needs, explaining how products work and/or what repairs are required
- Recommend and promote the sale of parts, after-sales services and maintenance programs
- Documentation and information transfer between technicians and customers
- Prepare work orders
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with service technicians
- Ensure customer satisfaction in relation to after-sales service
- Various administrative tasks such as:

- Order entry, analysis and review
- Invoicing
- Warranty registration
- Updating customer files
- Creation and revision of technical documents
- Guide customers in the maintenance of their agricultural products
- Analysis of technical problems
- Resource person to explain a problem and recommend solutions
- Follow-up with customers and follow-up as needed
- Assist and support service agents and technicians as needed
- Participate in various technical committees
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Technology watch
- Ongoing training
- All other related tasks

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering or any other training and/or experience deemed equivalent
- Experience in a similar position (an asset)
- Facilitation and moderation of meetings and discussion groups (an asset)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Good listening and communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Demonstrate rigor
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of applied mechanics
- Agricultural knowledge (an asset)
