Data Operations Manager

We’re hiring a** Data Operations Manager**to bring structure, consistency, and reliability to how we manage and use data across the company. Our current analytics stack (spanning Mixpanel, BigQuery, and Looker) has grown organically and needs cohesive direction. In this role, you’ll design and implement a unified data framework that connects product usage, marketing performance, and revenue outcomes into a single, trusted source of truth.
This position sits at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to ensure data is accurate, well-documented, and actionable. Your work will directly shape how the company measures success, discovers opportunities, and makes decisions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Audit current tracking, pipelines, and reporting for gaps and inconsistencies.
- Create and maintain a tracking plan across events, properties, and data flows.
- Define and enforce data governance standards (naming conventions, documentation, ownership).
- Partner with engineering to ensure correct event instrumentation and pipeline reliability.
- Work with product, marketing, and RevOps to translate business needs into data requirements.
- Build self-serve reporting and dashboards that give teams clear insights.
**Requirements**:
- 2-3+ years experience in data operations, product analytics, or business intelligence.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).
- Familiarity with event-based analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.).
- Strong communicator who can align stakeholders on data definitions and priorities.
- Bonus: SaaS/PLG experience, where product usage data drives revenue growth.
