And that's what we want to offer our employees. **Become a Data Center Operator** **This is **included** in the package** - Company-only renewable energy: because we care about the environment just like you - The Good Neighbors Squad: a team that works on initiatives to give back to society (e.g. fundraising for Ukraine); - The Feedback Forum: a forum that meets every 6 to 8 weeks to discuss areas for - Telemedicine and reimbursement of your professional - Annual social events and festivities so you can spend time with your dynamic colleagues outside of - And the opportunity to contribute to the explosive growth of a Canadian company headquartered in Montreal. **Your **contribution** The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for Facility Health & Safety - Management of both preventative and corrective infrastructure maintenance - Develop, maintain, and adhere to procedural and technical documentation - Management of local data center infrastructure and asset lifecycle - Compliance with relevant SSAE 18, ISO and PCI controls - Participate in weekly change management meetings, presenting to the Change Advisory Board, working with vendors to create supporting MOPs - Identifying areas for operational optimization, adhering to best practices - Monitoring of local data center infrastructure - Respond to fault conditions, diagnose, and assist with repair/remediation Supporting daily site operations - Rack and stack various IT hardware into racks. - Install and test copper and fiber cables throughout the data center and various computer rooms. - Ensure physical and remote security policies and procedures are being strictly followed - Create trouble tickets, log site visitors, and carry out shipping and receiving procedures - Ensure timely resolution and/or escalation of customer issues - Provide best in class customer service - Maintain cleanliness of the data center and facility areas Working Conditions The role has standard working conditions in a Data Center type of environment with a rotational workweek of 4 days on 3 days off followed by 3 days on and 4 days off. Total 14 working days per month. The role requires being available on-call rotation to respond to critical incidences.
