We're a dynamic real estate investing company with properties across Canada, seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Admin Assistant with accounting responsibilities. As an essential member of our team, you'll manage day-to-day administrative tasks and oversee accounting functions to ensure seamless operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Duties**:

- Assist Upper-Level Managements in any urgent requirements
- Manage communications with service partners (service vendors, town offices, insurance brokers, banks, utility providers, etc.). Must be comfortable with communicating in-person and over the phone. (REQUIRED)
- Flexible work hours, including some tasks outside 9-5 scope
- Office operations, event coordination, and record maintenance
- Assist in building and finding new technologies to improve internal processes using AI technology and apps

**Accounting Duties**:

- Process accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare periodic financial reports using our Property Management Software called Buildium
- Payroll processing, tax filings, and benefits administration
- Budget preparation and financial forecasting

**Customer Service**:

- Respond to inquiries from Management, property managers, vendors, and employees
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in administrative role with accounting responsibilities
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite as you will be managing a property management software called Buildium.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- English Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role.
- Experience with accounting software, payroll processing and tax filings
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
- Strong problem-solving and organization skills

- Required to be in office 2-3 days a week

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
