**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks, including portioning, trimming, and packaging various cuts of meat.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butcher area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to prevent contamination.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering questions regarding different cuts of meat.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders efficiently and maintain inventory levels.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, discarding any items that do not meet standards.
- Follow all health regulations and guidelines related to food handling and preparation.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Butcher or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in meat preparation.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace.
