**Summary**:
We are recruiting for a temporary **Office & Events Administrator (Co-op Student)**based out of our Burnaby Automation Centre, to support a variety of teams within the office. Reporting to the Manager, Facilities & Office Services, this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a supportive office environment.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Marketing Support**
- Assist Sales team members with CRM data entry, scheduling meetings, and creating presentations, reports, and other documents
- Support the Marketing team with local campaigns, intranet updates, and distribution of promotional items
**Event Coordination**
- Help plan and execute internal and external (customer-facing) events
- Prepare invites, nametags, registration lists, and other event materials
- Book venues, arrange catering and set-up, welcome guests, and liaise with vendors
**Office Administration**
- Provide daily administrative support to teams in the Burnaby and Prince George offices
- Provide back-up coverage to other Facilities & Office Services team members
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Currently studying Business, Marketing or Communications, or similar
- Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) an asset
- Prior experience with supporting in-person and virtual events, an asset
- Strong “Customer First” focus
- Positive team player, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers
- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Occasional travel and after-hours work required to support customer/company events
- Valid drivers’ license
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
