**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging.
- Sanitate work areas and equipment to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Fabricate and assemble products according to specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining accurate records.
- Package finished products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure product integrity and consumer safety.
- Assist in the operation of forklifts as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for measurement and record-keeping tasks.
- Understanding of food safety practices is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but can be provided on-site.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while following instructions.
