**Overview**

**Duties**
- Plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities that align with the programs values and goals.
- Maintains facility's Childcare Licensing Regulations.
- Fosters a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provides feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development.
- Collaborates with colleagues to create a cohesive experience for all children, creating a strong sense of community and belonging.
- Utilizes effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Keeps up an organized environment indoors and outdoors ensuring all materials and supplies are accessible and well-maintained.
- Adapts teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Completes specialized training as requested by the program director.
- Encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Fosters curiosity in and a connection to the natural world.
- Educates children on native fauna and flora.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong background in childcare, with experience working with young children in an outdoor setting.
- Excels at providing creative support to children in a Play based Child led programs.
- Group leadership experience; skilled at team building and possessing qualities that inspire confidence and curiosity in young learners.
- Is adaptable and intuitive supporting individual neurotypes.
- Excellent teaching abilities, can develop program plans in advance and spontaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and other educators.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Works well independently.

We are on-boarding with Childcare Fee Reduction Initiative and ECE wage enhancement Adding an additional $6.00/per hour to base pay
