**JOB PROFILE**
Under the direction of the Senior Director - Supply Chain and Logistics, the Procurement Director is responsible for the strategic management of purchasing and inventory, optimizing costs, quality, and lead times. The Director builds strong relationships with suppliers, coordinates cross-functional operations, and leads a team to support production and company objectives.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee and optimize the purchasing process, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, volume discounts, and supplier relationship management to ensure the best costs, lead times, and quality levels.
- Implement tools in the MRP system to assist buyers with their daily tasks.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, identifying cost-reduction opportunities while ensuring supply continuity.
- Establish inventory management processes according to market fluctuations.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or surpluses, utilizing just-in-time inventory management techniques and optimizing material flow.
- Evaluate supplier and procurement process performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement plans.
- Collaborate closely with planning, logistics, and finance teams to ensure effective operations coordination and the achievement of procurement goals.
- Work with various departments to address their process and training needs.
- Ensure process monitoring and improvements with the support of super users.
- Lead, train, and develop the procurement team to maximize their performance and engagement with the tools in place.

**PROFILE SOUGHT**:

- University degree in operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the manufacturing industry;
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and purchasing and inventory management software (MRP);
- Bilingualism (French - English, written and spoken), as the role requires communication with our U.S. plant;
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers;
- Ability to analyze complex data to make informed decisions and improve processes;
- Proven experience in team management, with skills in coaching and talent development.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:

- The position requires occasional travel to our Las Vegas plant.
