**Job Description**:
Are you a seasoned operations management and procurement specialist ready to lead a dynamic team specializing in electronics production? We're looking for a Production and Procurement Manager who will play an essential role in our day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will manage a non-unionized team of around ten people, including our warehouse colleagues, electronics technicians and electronics assemblers. If you have strong supply chain management experience, a talent for team management and a passion for safe and efficient operations, we'd like to meet you.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and coach the team while fostering a caring work environment
- Be the main internal point of contact for managing any problems or exceptions in daily operations
- Support team colleagues in resolving conflicts
- Ensure that quality standards and technical specifications are respected throughout the production process
- Collaborate with the R&D team to resolve production issues and implement continuous improvements
- Develop production schedules based on client orders and inventory levels, and manage priorities
- Manage production priorities in the event of urgent requests or order changes
- Escalate any issues with strategic impact to the Operations Director
- Be the main contact and manage relations with suppliers, negotiate and improve contracts, purchase prices, deliveries, while ensuring required follow-ups
- Monitor inventory levels, minimize storage costs and avoid stock outs
- Manage supply risk in a highly volatile context, mainly related to semiconductors
- Manage logistics, customs compliance and freight transport
- Collaborate with the R&D team to find different supply sources and alternative parts when a major problem arises
- Monitor and control production costs, ensuring compliance with the allocated budget
- Identify ways of optimizing production processes, in order to reduce operating costs

**Qualifications**:

- Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in Supply Management or equivalent
- Five years' experience in operations management
- Two years' experience managing a team of at least 10 people
- Bilingual, English and French
- Physical ability to work in a warehouse (maximum load 50 lb)
- Strong knowledge of one or more ERP software packages
- 5 days/week at the St-Bruno-de-Montarville head office

**Assets**
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration,
- University certificate or DESS in supply chain management
- Knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite and the trucking industry
- Ability for automating systems and processes
