**About the Role**

We’re seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care to an individual in residential settings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day support to an individual with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges
- Assist with personal care when out in the community
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and assistance with community activities or outings
- Support clients with using HandyDART
- Foster a safe and respectful living environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow established protocols and maintain professional boundaries

**Qualifications & Competencies**
- Previous experience working in residential care, home support, or with vulnerable populations is an asset
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends
- Driver’s license (asset)
