**Your role**

As Business Analyst, your role will consist of analyzing business needs specific to the creation of content; documenting requirements and change requests; and translating business terms into IT terms in order to liaise with T & I technical teams within a wide-ranging solutions portfolio.

You will lead workshops to gather needs, help partners clarify their vision, list business components, identify opportunities for improvement, and document options in a clear, consistent and unambiguous manner. Being detail-oriented, you must take the time to clearly articulate needs and/or issues. You must demonstrate strong communication skills in interactions with stakeholders, using technical terms with T & I team members and common terms with business partners.

You will have to operate within very tight deadlines in an evolving environment, ensuring that processes are optimized according to best practices while demonstrating the ability to proactively research and analyze solutions using all available tools and resources (internet, intranet, colleagues, etc.).

You will also be required to coordinate activities by collaborating in the development of preliminary work plans and user tests, as well as by regularly informing the manager responsible for the risks and problems encountered.

**Responsibilities**- Collaborate with stakeholders from the production sector (radio, digital, television) by gathering, documenting and analyzing their requirements in order to understand, document and/or restructure current CBC/Radio-Canada business processesHelp monitor each project to ensure that desired results are achieved-
- Keep management informed on all deliverables and/or related activities-
- Lead the effort to analyze and resolve deficiencies-
- Work within multiple scrum teams to deliver solutions iteratively and incrementally-
- Liaise between end-users/stakeholders and the various internal departmentsEnsure that non-compliances (bugs and/or deficiencies) are communicated to the provider via the issue-tracking system (Jira)-
- Initiate, lead and conduct meetings with the vendor and/or end-users as well as other project team members-
- Ensure that discussion points and action items are captured and distributed to relevant parties for follow-up and closure-
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions, guiding users to validate the solution-
- As needed, undertake knowledge transfer exercises with the vendor and/or CBC/Radio-Canada and end-users-
- Participate in regular meetings with the provider and/or CBC/Radio-Canada project teams-
- Bachelor’s degree or community college diploma in computer science or equivalent-
- Five (5) years’ experience in business process analysis positions-
- Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA) certification an asset-
- Advanced knowledge of requirements gathering, documentation and analysis-
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and client satisfaction skills-
- Strong analytical skills and open-minded approach to problem-solving; demonstrated creativity in developing technical solutions in response to client and project needs-
- Bilingualism (English and French), spoken and written-
- Knowledge of production (video/audio editing, motion design) and archive systems (DAM, MAM, databases), as well as content acquisition, publishing and distribution processes, in a media environment (TV, radio, digital)-
