Position Summary
The Accounting & Compliance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s reporting requirements. This includes preparing monthly and year-end journal entries and bank reconciliation, performing account reconciliation and analysis, researching variances, and identifying trends. This position will also lead the accounting support team to identify, develop, implement, and maintain strong internal financial controls and procedures. In addition, the position assists the Senior Accountant during the month-end and year-end and supports the accounting support team, including performing transactional duties as required. Duties are often performed with mínimal supervision, with a responsibility to organize workflow to ensure deadlines are met. This position reports to Director of Finance.

**SCHEDULE**: Monday - Friday, office hours - flexibility with start and end times. Hybrid working environment - mix of working at home and office with a minimum of three on-site days at the office per week.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A professional accounting designation, or near completion
- A minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sage 300 and advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to understand, communicate and support the mission and values of RainCity Housing, and the models/methods of supporting clients including the principles of Housing First and Harm Reduction
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
