Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd was founded in 1993 to provide Foodservice Customers with a fresh alternative. An outstanding supply network, efficient distribution through our three regional locations, and our thoroughly modern processing plant are all part of our commitment to provide the freshest fruits and vegetables possible.

Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a Full-Time (Permanent) Machine Operators who is eager to work in a fast paced team oriented work environment at our Milton, Ontario location.

Position: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: $18/h

Schedule: 5 days/week Sunday to Friday (Saturdays + another changing day off), start 7:00am

- Accurate completion of documentation when required
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
- Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers
- Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
- Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products.
- Able to identify and retrieve products for processing
- Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
- Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

What you bring to the Fresh Start Foods Table:

- Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
