Job description

While we thank you for your interest, **BEFORE applying** please read the following requirements for this **Employment and Social Development Canada Youth Employment & Skills Strategy (Y.E.S.S.) program**:
**Not eligible if under a student or work visa**

**Must be eligible to work in Canada**
- **Cannot be attending or returning to a current school program.**_
- **Must be in, or close to, Waterloo Region to participate in any hands on training required.**_
- **Are you between the ages of 15-30?**_

The program consists of some hours online so access to internet and a computer will be preferred, and the balance of the time in person at our retail store. All PPE will be provided for your safety.
- Are you interested in securing full time employment or maybe you have considered returning to school (if you have been out of school for an extended period)?
- Are you serious about new job skills?
- Would you like to test these skills in a fun and friendly retail store and learn more about customer service, cash handling, receiving, stocking and social media marketing all while being paid for your time?
- Are you eager and available to work 30 daytime hours per week (does include Saturday hours), compensated at $17.20 per hour for 10 weeks?
- Are you eligible to work in Canada and **not on a student visa or work visa**?

Argus is offering a job training program, which helps overcome barriers to employment and develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in order to participate in the current and future labour market.

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
