**Operator/Electrical Technician**
- **Job Overview**_

The Operator/Electrical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems within our facility. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, along with the ability to operate equipment and perform regular inspections and repairs to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Safely operate and monitor various electrical systems and machinery, ensuring they perform to operational standards.
- Quickly identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults, conducting repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure long-term reliability and safety.
- Use diagnostic tools to monitor system performance and detect issues, making adjustments to optimize equipment functioning.
- Record maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, ensuring accurate logs for compliance and future reference.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and standards, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and operators to maintain seamless operations and improve overall system performance.
- Respond to emergencies, system failures, and equipment malfunctions swiftly to minimize impact on operations.
- Assist in the installation, upgrading, and modification of electrical systems and equipment to improve efficiency or meet changing requirements.
- **Qualifications**_
- Relevant post-secondary education is a benefit.
- Proven experience as an Operator, Electrical Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and other electrical equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Technical certifications related to electrical systems and safety protocols are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations calmly.
