The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for planning the demand and supply for a/multiple product category within LG Electronics’ business units. Responsible for forecasting volumes, revenue, product movement and procuring supply. Lead a team of planners to align stakeholder inputs and facilitate a robust S&OP planning process.
Bilingualism in English & Korean is mandatory
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Demand Management**:

- Manage and own the rolling demand forecast for business units assigned
- Analyze sell-in and sell-out forecast and aligns future demand to meet dynamic market conditions
- Review and manage inventory to align with KPI’s (safety stock, days of inventory, turns)

**Supply Management**:

- Ensure products are procured to meet the market’s rolling demand forecast; tracking purchase orders issued to multiple factories across the globe
- Troubleshoot coverage plans and supply disruptions on an on-going basis and re-aligns volume forecasts to match inbound supply plans.

**Sales and Operations**:

- Review the forecasting, sales capability, Inventory KPI’s for alignment and meeting business requirements
- Prepare and analyze the sales and operational capabilities for each product group; highlights and presents the status of the business to stakeholders and senior leadership (weekly)

**Systems**:

- Interface with installed ERP tools to control and manage the business
- Set and manage system operating parameters to align system(s) with the required and anticipated planning requirements; Lead time, safety stock, EOL timing, NPI timing, etc.

**Team Management**:

- Lead and develop demand/supply planners within the division
- Champion the S&OP process (lead, evolve, facilitate)
- Continuous improvement (identify process gaps and improve where necessary)
- Act as a liaison for cross functional collaboration with: Sales, Category (BM), CPFR, Finance, Logistics/distribution
- Additional duties as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:

- Bilingual in Korean and English (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other relevant discipline
- Experience with leading, coaching and developing a team
- 4+ years of experience in demand and/or supply planning
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience working with ERP and forecasting systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills - ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders
- Prioritizing/Time Management Skills. Must be able to operate with a high degree of urgency
- ASCM/APICS certification would be considered an asset
