Develop accurate and timely demand forecast while reducing inventory/working capital and minimizing forecast variability.

Evaluate, compare and define gaps in plan against top-down objectives

Understand data requirements to maintain supply planning processes; communicate and gain alignment with cross-functional leaders to improve quality by studying trends, seasonality & historical performance, new items and category changes as well as events and causal factors.

Understand Sales and Marketing inputs for promotional volume and share impact, and adjust base level forecast.

Develop specific forecast model for temporary SKUs, including phase in and phase out
Ensure alignment of demand forecasts with sales estimates & provide reconciliation and analysis of variance

Use current demand planning systems to create the best statistical forecast possible using established processes.

Drive root cause analysis to understand demand plan error in prior periods and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Utilize fact-based approach to challenge assumptions inconsistent with brand strategy and highlight risks and opportunities.

Create a robust planning function to support continuous improvement in the total supply chain.**S&OP PROCESS**

Oversee the demand planning portion of the S&OP process characterized by a single set of demand numbers (agreed by Finance, Sales, and Operations) for the purpose of short, mid and long-term planning.

Ensure the consistency of the demand plan at each level of aggregation and over the different steps of the Distribution network

Establish and lead consensus meetings with Sales, Marketing and Finance and the Executive S&OP reviews with RBCA top management**PROJECT MANAGEMENT**

Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.

Ensure team works in conjunction with the Sales organization, to maintain required knowledge of customer practices, needs and strategies as they relate to forecasting and customer ordering processes.

Work in a fast-paced environment using multiple systems and requiring development of ad hoc reports integrating data from a variety of sources.**OPERATIONS**

Drive/support operations related and ad-hoc projects.

Help to resolve complex demand/supply imbalances with key stakeholders.

Partner closely with Supply Planning and Logistics to successfully manage product transitions, both end of life and new product introductions.

Participate in efforts to reduce costs throughout the Supply Chain.**POINT OF SALE MERCHANDISE PROCUREMENT**

Accountable for the success of the Point of Sale (POS) merchandise procurement in partnership with the Global HQ colleagues.

Direct report will manage the day-to-day system requirements for optimizing Red Bull’s global purchasing volumes in key commodity families. However, the Demand Planning Manager will need to provide strategic guidance to the Demand & Supply Planner to identify improvement opportunities in the areas of volume leverage, supplier reductions, strategic supplier development and other forms of strategic procurement practices.

Institutionalize best in class procurement practices and demonstrate value to the field organization by driving cost and service improvements.

Prepare annual business plan for all capital expense items and operational expense items.
- EXPERIENCE

- 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning for a consumer goods manufacturing environment with an understanding of major retail accounts and supply chain management
- Comprehensive knowledge of high-level retail operations, forecasting technology, systems, market research data, and supply chain management
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
- Building relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence.
- Proven track record in managing effective team and people leadership skills, including nurturing of new graduates.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform in a command-and-control role under pressure and to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
- Strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process formulation and improvement.
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment.
- Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
- Prior knowledge and experience in SAP ERP and APO DP and IBP preferred.
