The Position We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist within our Professional division that markets products solely to the Hair Stylists and Barbers segment under the lead brand of BabylissPro. This position will be based at our Montreal office. The Marketing Specialist will work with our marketing and product teams to support the development and implementation of the department's marketing programs and initiatives, as well as brand and product development.If you have a passion for the beauty industry, this opportunity is for youResponsibilities
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and other internal teams to support marketing plans, projects, and day-to-day activities including, but not limited to:Marketing collaterals and communications (flyers, brochures, sell sheets, customer ads etc.) Digital marketingDatabase(s) maintenanceEvents and artists team support
- Collaborate with the product team to support product development plans, projects, and day-to-day activities, including but not limited to:Presentations preparationSales and testing samples deploymentBrand management of select product lines
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute reports
- Conduct competitive research and analysis - Act as a liaison with external partners as required
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products, our brand, and our market - Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications - Degree in Marketing, Business or related field - Minimum 3 years related experience - Bilingual (French and English) - spoken and written - Ability to work independently and with initiative
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Highly organized with strong time management skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and strong attention to detail - Team player - Quick learner
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) - Knowledge of social media platforms and online marketing tools as asset
