**Working as a Collection Agent, you will**:

- Manage outbound and inbound calls to collect overdue accounts from consumers professionally and empathetically.
- Engage with consumers to understand their financial situation and negotiate payment plans that work for both parties.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Use effective communication and negotiation skills to resolve account delinquencies while preserving consumer relationships.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills in a non-scripted environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets related to collections, call quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Adapt to a dynamic environment with evolving policies and procedures.

**Working as a Collection Agent, you should have**:

- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a customer service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on persuasion and negotiation.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult or escalated conversations.
- Proficiency in English is required; bilingualism is an asset but not necessary.
- A strong work ethic, a passion for helping customers, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Familiarity with call center software is an asset, but not required and multitasking across multiple systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
**Supplemental pay types**: Performance Bonuses

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evening and weekend shifts
