Adventure Daycare is seeking a fun and passionate After School Educator. Our program offers a variety of engaging activities and opportunities for children to learn, grow, and have fun. We are committed to fostering positive relationships, promoting personal growth, and creating memorable experiences for every child in our care.
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage with school-aged children in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and outdoor play
- Create a safe and supportive environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore their interests and talents
- Establish positive relationships with children and families, fostering open communication and collaboration
- Maintain a clean and organized program space, including cleaning up after activities and ensuring the safety and security of all children
- Follow all program policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, guidance, and emergency procedures
**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children
- Must be 19 years of age
- Responsible adult course (or 20 hours of child development training)
- First aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
