**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering multi-line phone systems, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain accurate medical records (confirmation of date of birth, current address and telephone number) and documentation.
- Be familiar with the WCB and ICBC visit forms & billing.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system ( Med Access) for patient data management.
- Should be familiar with preparing the patient for appropriate exams and to take Vital signs, Urine dipstick, Pregnancy test, and to document in the patient visit.
- Process medical collections for MSP uninsured services (e.g., preparing document request from the lawyers, WCB, ICBC, Insurance companies etc.) according to the office policies.
- Scanning reports and documents in the EMR, typing, and managing correspondence.
- Foster a welcoming environment for patients by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and effective phone etiquette.

**Skills**
- Proficient in medical terminology.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (preferably Med Access)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is an advantage.
- Excellent typing skills with proficiency in 10-key typing for accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of health information management principles.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
