New Era Dentist is growing. We’re looking for a **Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant** to join our supportive and growing team on a part-time basis

**Job Type**: Part-time, Permanent (expanding to full-time)

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Tuesday to Friday,
- 1 - 2 Saturdays/month

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare room and set up instruments
- Greet & seat patients
- Collect patient information: concerns, questions regarding dental issues, know allergies, medical history, and other information required by dentist.
- Take x-rays and intra oral images following all proper safety procedures.
- Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker
- Provide excellent chairside manner to put patient at ease.
- Record notes in patient files and support dentist in creating future treatment plans.
- Execute CDA duties as directed by dentist
- Protect patient privacy
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Ensure a sterile and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Sanitizing rooms and equipment and sterilizing instruments
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care
- Stock supplies as required

**Qualifications**
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Level 2 certification
- Proficient in medical terminology and dental assisting practices
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient records and appointments
- Experience with Tracker dental software
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dental care
- Familiarity with digital technology for dental procedures

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Dental Assistant (required)
- CPR/BLS - current

**Location**:

- Maple Ridge, BC V2X3H9 (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maple Ridge, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
