First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, is currently accepting resumes for an experienced **Warehouse Foreman** for our Surrey BC branch. This role will lead the warehouse in the day-to-day operations and to coach staff on efficiencies and creating a better end user experience. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supervise and control workflow. Delegation of tasks. Distribute workforce as needed throughout department.
- Supervise staff to ensure work is timely, effective, and in accordance with quality requirements.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees on procedures.
- Train, rotate and cross-train staff on each aspect of the warehouse processes for all shifts.
- Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals for department.
- Foster a culture of accountability.
- Ensuring that all tools and equipment in warehouse are safe and operational.
- Assist in operations as necessary to achieve department goals.

**Required Qualifications**
- Must have experience with large trucks and dealership experience.
- Understanding of parts for large trucks a must.
- Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
- Above average computer skills. Used to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other required computer work.
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
- Maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).
