**Salary range - $75,000 to $78,000**

What you will be doing:

- Manage day to day operations of warehouse, facilitating daily tool-box safety meetings with employees.
- Recruit, and screen new hires, schedule shift rotations & vacations.
- Coordinate deliveries to site & and offloading to various yard & and warehouse areas for storage.
- Issue all materials PPE and Safety equipment to Field and Sub Contractors
- Receive and track inventory, perform cycle counts and audits using software system
- Contact vendors to assist in procurement of goods on stock & and emergency orders
- Responsible for maintaining/balancing a budget for materials.
- Participate in management budget meetings/submit timesheets to payroll.
- Prepare incident reports / sign off on cards / communicate with management
- Train and mentoring of staff, have strong computer skills, data entry.
- Work closely with Manager, work a split shift to have complete coverage

What we are looking for:

- Post-secondary education and/or work experience in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and purchasing on infrastructure, heavy civil construction projects
- Knowledge of BC and Canadian vendors and suppliers
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, able to work on multiple projects at the same time and effectively manage priorities
- Ability to manage and coordinate competing organizational needs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to distill strategy into a clear, compelling and concise narrative
- Ability to analyze complex data and derive well supported linear and non-linear premises
- Integrative thinker and negotiator; ability to flex his/her style to suit situational contexts
