Systems Administrator Ii

The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the resolution of escalated service delivery incidents and for providing support to help move the organization to the next level with a focus on the rapidly growing global network of eSentire flagship products deployed at client sites. This includes the research, design, build, deployment and management of supporting tools and technologies.
**Requirements**:
- Highly technical specialist that is knowledgeable in all ‘Data Center’ tasks related to Windows, Mac OS and Endpoint administration
- Responsible for developing and mentoring others within their scope of technical expertise
- Responsible for influencing and directing technical/functional decision making at the managerial level
- Assesses risk and provides mitigation at a design, deployment and operational level
- Conducts in-depth analysis/evaluation on complex design/operations tasks and drives often intricate and innovative solution proposals
- May lead exploratory projects
- Has broad range domain expertise with the ability to synthesize wide range information and solve issues
- Has the intuitive knowledge and understanding of potential issues and/or limitations of various approaches
- Provides exemplary cross functional support and visibility for multiple teams
- May be required to travel (approximately 10%) as it relates to projects or assigned tasks and duties.
- Installing, upgrading, monitoring, maintaining and/or troubleshooting Windows and/or MacOS servers and related systems.
- Available for emergency on-call issues.
- Responsible for on-site equipment including meeting rooms, server room, IT Storage and responding to and escalating equipment alarms, including generator testing monthly.
- Responsible for laptop and office equipment, including purchasing and returns, including onboarding and offboarding of employees “IT” devices.
- Responsible for responding to and escalating physical and logical IT security related alarms.
- Point of escalation contact for smart building alarm monitoring in case of the fire or burglar alarm goes off.
- Dealing with external vendors and contractors as related to assigned activities. Including Internet connectivity, Generator testing, camera’s, building access, remote fire and burglar alarm monitoring.
- Occasional, scripting and automation related tasks to streamline business operations.
- Responsible for the management and operational activities of cloud infrastructure and assets, including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and virtual systems and servers.
- Other duties as assigned.
