Construction Project Manager

Learn more about Avenue Living Communities. **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** - Complete construction projects ensuring the health and safety of our tenants and employees. - Projects include in-suite renovations, exterior siding, windows, roofs, boilers, common areas etc. - Create Capex scenarios and reports as needed. - Project Manage Building Upgrades < $100,000. - Tendering/preparation of RFPs. - Complete municipal building and development permits where required. - AFE & Purchase Order Approval Process. - Construction Management & Progress Inspections. - Procurement - vetting of new contractors and suppliers. - Provide the Contract Admin team with the information required to create construction agreements for all work being awarded. - Operations Support. - Other internal projects as required (change management, IT). - Provide weekly updates on projects to stakeholders. - Coordinate project activities with both our field staff and the Calgary head office. **WHAT WILL YOU NEED?** - 3-5 Years of experience executing upgrade projects on Multi-Family Apartment buildings. - Construction estimating or site-supervisor experience. - Experience with the full project life cycle of building upgrades from planning through to completion. - Experience managing roofing, siding, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, balcony, carpentry, and interior renovation projects. - Experience working with municipal authorities. - Expect to spend 50-75% of your time traveling to our buildings across our portfolio. - Ability to manage a large volume of small projects in parallel. - Exceptional problem-solving capability. **WHAT DO WE OFFER?** - We live and breathe our core values.
