**Working at Fanshawe College**
- The School of Transportation Technology and Apprenticeship is looking for temporary Part-time Professors able to provide both theoretical and practical instruction in the following areas:
- Truck and Coach Technician
- Motive Power/Automotive Service Technician
- Automotive Service Management and Automotive Sales
- Agricultural Repair Technician (425A)

**Qualifications**

**GENERAL** **QUALIFICATIONS**
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred

**SPECIFIC** **QUALIFICATIONS**

**Part-time Professor -** **Truck and Coach Technician**
- 310T Red Seal designation required
- 5+ years’ of relevant industry experience required
- Experience working with equity deserving groups is an asset

**Part-time Professor -** **Motive Power/Automotive Service Technician**
- 310S Red Seal designation is required
- 5+ years’ of relevant industry experience is required
- Experience working with equity deserving groups is an asset

**Part-time Professor -** **Automotive Service Management and Automotive Sales**
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required
- Recent and relevant experience required in Automotive Sales or Service Advisor experience in the automotive industry
- Ability to speak multiple languages is an asset
- Experience working with equity deserving groups is an asset

**Part-time Professor -** **Agricultural Equipment Technician (425A)**
- 7 years’ of experience minimum
