**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fire Alarm System Inspections and Repairs**: Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems at various client sites, including those in **remote locations**.
- **Customer Service**: Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and maintaining professionalism while working in occupied facilities.
- **Travel**: Frequent travel to multiple job sites within and outside the Calgary area, often including **overnight stays**.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead or assist in managing small teams, as needed, while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols.
- **Technical Expertise**: Interpret blueprints and electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with all codes and standards.
- **Problem-Solving**: Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues with life safety and electrical systems in commercial and government settings.

**Requirements**:

- **Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician** certification.
- Minimum of **5+ years of experience** in life safety system inspections and testing (preferred).
- **CFAA Certification** (preferred).
- **Clean Driver’s Abstract** and ability to pass security clearance screenings.
- **Willingness to travel extensively** within the region, including remote locations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of **electrical standards and codes**.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage parts/supplies efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to embrace new innovations, processes, and procedures.
- Comfortable working in occupied facilities with professionalism and respect.
- Availability to work overtime, including **frequent overnight travel**.
