What's being a Grime Fighter like?

HIRING NOW for On Call Snow Shovellers - $30/hour

**YOU MUST**:

- be available in the early AM hours or throughout the evening
- have a cell phone

**HOW IT WORKS**:
This position is *ON CALL*. You will ONLY be called upon immediately before/during/after forecasted snowfalls.

If snow is predicted, we will text you the night before to confirm that you will be ready to work the next day. We will text you again early the morning of a snowfall, to let you know you ARE working and any other details regarding location. You are only required to meet at a CENTRAL LOCATION in Vancouver or near to transit. You are NOT REQUIRED to have your own vehicle, but it is an asset if you do.

**WE'RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO**:

- are motivated, goal driven, and team-oriented
- will actively answer texts offering work (i.e. when the temp drops below 2C or it snows)
- are available on-call throughout the winter season (the more you're available, the more likely you'll get shifts)
- live in the Lower Mainland
- are comfortable working in very cold temperatures
- have appropriate cold weather protective clothing (i.e. waterproof boots, gloves, layers, waterproof jacket, etc)
- are in good physical shape and health

are capable of shoveling snow for AT LEAST a 4 hour shift, but preferably 8 hours or more
