**REPORTS TO**: Program Manager, Douglas Shelter

**DESCRIPTION**:
The Program Coordinator supervises and oversees the services and day to day operations of the 24/7 Program facilities. The Coordinator will be actively involved in providing direct service to clients as well as providing support and supervision to staff. The Coordinator will work with the Manager and staff in building a skilled, cohesive, collaborative team. The Coordinator will also work with the manager to ensure that program delivery is consistent with the policies, procedures, and Mission Statement of Progressive Housing Society.

**EMPLOYEE CATEGORY**: Full-Time, Term(Until September 19, 2026)

**HOURS OF WORK**:Tuesday - Saturday, 08:00-16:00

**VACANCIES**: 1 (one) vacancy

**SALARY RANGE**: Grid 38 - HEU - Community Subsector

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field preferred; may consider equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years related experience in mental health
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a related field
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean drivers' abstract
- Personal vehicle for business related purposes
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Provincial Violence Prevention Training is considered an asset
- Naloxone Training
- Trauma Informed Practice
- Mental Health Recovery Model
- Successful clearance of a criminal record check

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervises and oversees the services and day to day operations of the 24/7 Shelter facilities.
- Actively involved in providing direct service to clients as well as providing support and supervision to staff.
- Works with the Manager and staff in building a skilled, cohesive, collaborative team.
- Works with the manager to ensure that program delivery is consistent with the policies, procedures, and Mission Statement of Progressive Housing Society.
- Other related duties, as required.

Pay: $33.99 per hour
