**Company Overview**

The company is a City Club located in downtown Victoria, BC with 1400 memberships. Business facilities include two restaurants, five banquet rooms, 22 guestrooms, fitness centre, billiards room, library, reading room, three meeting rooms and over 500 affiliate clubs around the world. Members pay dues monthly, quarterly, or annually.
- Full cycle accounting for a City Club with 1400 memberships
- Cash flow management, accounts payable administration, credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and record monthly closing entries and bank reconciliations
- Prepare final financial statements and management discussion and analysis each month
- Prepare an annual budget
- Work closely with General Manager and Finance Committee to provide financial and statistical reports as required
- Provide financial and system support to senior management team
- Maintain relationships with vendors, banker, and insurance company
- Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants for year-end review engagement audit and tax filing, prepare all supporting working papers.
- Prepare license renewals and remit tax to governmental bodies
- Administer payroll and group benefits for 50-70 employees
- Ensure internal control policies are followed and provide recommendations for improvements
- Hiring Admin for all positions
- Handling Work Safe BC
- Supervise and working together with Member Accounts Manager

**Skills**
- CPA Designation
- 5+ years of accounting experience post designation
- Expert knowledge of Excel and MS Access, knowledge of Jonas Club software would be an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in all departments as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
