Live Peace 24/7 Seniors Home Care is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care for seniors in Vancouver. We believe in creating a community of care and support, empowering seniors to live independently with dignity. We're looking for a passionate **Community Outreach Worker** to join our team and help spread awareness of our services throughout the community.

**Job Overview**:
As a **Community Outreach Worker**, you will play a vital role in promoting Live Peace 24/7 Seniors Home Care’s services within the community, building relationships with local organizations, and connecting with families and seniors in need of care. Your goal will be to generate leads and expand our reach by educating the public and representing our organization at community events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Bring in leads** by connecting with potential clients and referral sources.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage the local community and promote our senior care services.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local businesses to foster partnerships and generate referrals.
- Organize and attend community events, workshops, and information sessions to raise awareness about our services.
- Provide information and education to families and caregivers on available senior care options.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure we are meeting the needs of seniors in the community.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, lead generation, and outcomes.
- A background in professional or lived experience working with vulnerable populations facing multiple barriers
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Persons Criminal Records Check
- Current Emergency First Aid Certificate
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination

Compensation:

- **Pay Rate**: $23 to $30 per hour, based on experience 4% plus vacation

Pay: $23.46-$30.65 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Metro Vancouver Regional District, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Master's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- home care outreach: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
