Job Title: Business Associate

Location: Greater Toronto Area [hybrid/remote]

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Associate to join our consulting team, specializing in services for small to mid-sized real estate groups and family offices. This role will support client engagements through market analysis, financial modeling, strategic recommendations, and a variety of advisory projects to enhance investment strategies and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to support client projects in the real estate sector.
- Assist in the development of financial models and investment analyses for various real estate projects and portfolios.
- Collaborate with Directors to prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients, including CFO-related services.
- Support due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing relevant data and documentation.
- Help clients identify opportunities and challenges in their investment strategies and operational practices.
- Provide insights into financial performance and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for clients.
- Participate in various advisory projects, such as risk assessments, operational improvements, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain and update project management databases and tools to track client engagements and deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing insights and responding to inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions affecting real estate investments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. **1-3 years of experience in consulting, investment analysis, or related fields, preferably in real estate and CFO services.**:

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with real estate markets, investment principles, and family office dynamics is a plus.
