**Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team on Annacis Island, Delta, BC. In this role you will be an important part in our production process, ensuring our high-quality lingerie and clothing are crafted with precision. Your everyday efforts will directly contribute to the creation of exceptional products for everyone.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Proficient in operating: *Zigzag*, Coverstitch*, Serger/Overlock, Single needle, Double needle
- *Installing elastics*
- *Experience with swimwear/sportswear, lingerie, fine knits/wovens*
- Using a variety of folding, taping, binding, hemming tools
- Assisting junior team members when needed
- Assisting with related production tasks when needed
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and careful handling of delicate materials
- Can read a ruler and measure accurately
- Basic English communication skills
- Critical thinking
- Observant

**Bonus skills**(not required, but a boost):

- Computerized serger elastic attachment
- Flatlock
- Buttonhole/buttonsew
- Bartack
- Eyelet/snaps, etc.
- Pockets, zippers
- Machine troubleshooting

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high quality garments according to design specifications
- Work with a variety of sewing techniques and tools, adjusting tensions, needles, and threads as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Measure and cut materials accurately based on production requirements
- Contribute to a calm, collaborative work environment, handling tasks with high accuracy
- Assist in training new operators on machinery use and techniques
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
- Review your work to ensure quality standards
