As a Machine Operator at Merlin Plastics, you will be integral to our production process, ensuring our plastic pallets are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will operate and maintain various types of machinery, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other team members to meet production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor machinery used in the production of plastic pallets.
- Set up machines, including adjusting settings and calibrations, to meet production requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or malfunctions.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
- Keep the machine clean and follow dust schedule for its housekeeping.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with machinery used in plastic pallet production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
