**Job Summary**
To sustain rapid growth, SEI Industries is committed to increasing our production capacity to meet customer requests. The sewer will be responsible for assembling products by operating industrial sewing machines.
**Responsibilities**
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and sew components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret patterns, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting materials and finished products.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Other tasks and duties as required by supervisor.
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 1+ years of industrial sewing experience.
- Experience with heavy fabrics, technical têxtiles, or industrial materials is an asset.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high accuracy.
- Basic understanding of sewing machine maintenance.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
