**Responsibilities**
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functions.
- Supervise and train team members on food handling, customer service, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and safety protocols to foster a high-performing team.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations through regular kitchen inspections and staff training on proper food handling procedures.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, shift reconciliation, and balancing registers accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain quality control in food production, catering services, banquet events, and quick-service operations.
- Monitor budget adherence, optimize operational costs, and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
**Skills**
- Extensive experience in food service management within casual dining or quick-service restaurants; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong culinary background with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or food industry settings; capable of training and developing staff effectively.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and food safety practices to ensure operational excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during shift management while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Experience with catering events, banquet services, bar operations including barista or coffee experience is advantageous.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
