The Safety Manager is responsible for the execution of site safety management. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. This position requires being on-site.

**General responsibilities include**:

- Daily safety walks and inspections,
- Weekly safety audits with the CMs and GC,
- Daily safety reporting within Procore,
- Safety training for the Compass project staff,
- Ensuring compliance with the GC’s safety program,
- Ensuring compliance with the Compass Cares program,
- Ensuring federal/jurisdictional safety requirements are complied with,
- Communications, updates and presentations to customer weekly and as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 4-8 years of construction safety experience
- Broad knowledge of rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to safety.
- The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize your time to meet deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate-verbally and written
- Proven track record of speaking up when you encounter any potential roadblocks.
- Passion for the role you play in keeping the project details on track.
- Previous experience with Procore a plus
