If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor passionate about working at heights safety, this role is for you. ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and informative Working at Heights training to job seekers, the general public, and construction industry members. Evaluate participants through practical skills and written assessment.
Organize, file and submit digital and hard copy participant records following training. Potentially deliver other courses such as Forklift Training, Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training, Confined Space Entry and Rescue and more. Participate in team meetings and instructor development workshops.
Qualifications
and Experience3+ years experience delivering training. Background in construction management and/or other fall hazard‑related industry. Work experience or certification in occupational health & safety preferred. Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training.
Self‑starter who is able to work independently while also contributing to a team. Strong presentation and adult‑engagement skills. Forklift, mobile elevated work platforms and confined space entry and rescue considered an asset. Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence – occasional travel by car for work.
