The Purchasing and Inventory Clerk will work closely with the Senior Director of Operations, Senior Director of Procurement, and other operation team leaders to ensure that purchasing support functions and all company inventory management and policies are met with a high standard of quality.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Purchasing Support**:

- Join, support, and work with the existing purchasing team across Canada
- Manage, negotiate, maintain relationships, and evaluate trade partner performance, pricing, terms and conditions, etc
- Assist with coordinating facility R&M work orders / purchases

**Raw Material / Inventory**:

- Purchase raw materials / outside services using best practices and to manage planned inventory levels on the production floor and warehouse
- Utilize system to forecast, report, and manage inventory levels to ensure consistent and timely purchase and levels of raw materials
- Assist with shipping & receiving of raw materials in/out of facility - provide material handling support
- Utilize Clamp truck, Raymond Reach, BT walkie, skid wrapper, etc (but not limited to) to perform all raw material management functions

**All other**:

- Work with all departments to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Learn and understands client quality requirements and RRD quality specifications
- Detail-oriented and is able to handle high volume production
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures; and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies, and all strict Covid-19 protocols
- Ensuring continuous improvement of all level
- Ability to work occasional overtime in evenings and/or weekends during peak period
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1 + years of previous experience (on the job training to be provided)
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft office (mainly Excel) and Google mail
- Previous experience in a purchasing / raw material control is an asset
- Current PV license and experience is necessary
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Meticulous, bondable reliable

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
