This role exists to ensure that happens. About the Role We are hiring a Purchasing & Logistics Manager to own the day-to-day execution of purchasing, international freight, and inventory movement across our global operation. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role focused on placing POs, coordinating suppliers and freight forwarders, tracking shipments, and keeping inventory and systems accurate across locations. What You’ll Own Purchasing & Order Execution – Calculate order quantities, place and manage POs with overseas suppliers, track production, coordinate supplier payments with finance, and maintain accurate PO and production records in the ERP. Logistics & Freight Management – Coordinate air, sea, and ground shipments with freight forwarders, optimize routes and costs, manage documentation, track shipments end-to-end, and surface risks early. Inventory Monitoring & Branch Transfers – Monitor inventory across all warehouses, trigger purchasing actions, coordinate inter-branch transfers, and ensure inventory movements are accurately recorded. Systems, Admin & Data Accuracy – Maintain clean ERP and spreadsheet data, update tracking numbers and ETAs, and support reconciliations and operational reporting. Who You Are 5+ years experience coordinating logistics, including air, sea, and ground freight. Terms like customs bonds, DDP, DDU are all second nature 5+ years in purchasing, in particular working with overseas suppliers Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) Commercially minded — you are always looking for better shipping options, lower costs, and smarter ways to move inventory Personality & Working Style While you must be comfortable executing on the responsibilities above, the deciding factor will be your track record of taking initiative, owning outcomes, and exercising sound judgment. We’re looking for people who challenge assumptions, make thoughtful calls, and own results end-to-end — not just follow instructions. You should be someone who: Is detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through on execution Is ownership-driven, focused on results rather than just completing assigned tasks Challenges inefficient or inherited processes instead of accepting “that’s how it’s done” Has a track record of taking initiative, making decisions with incomplete information, and surfacing risks early Is willing to respond to suppliers outside standard hours and use tools like WeChat to unblock issues in real time This is not a strict 9–5 role. What Success Looks Like Purchase orders are accurate, timely, and aligned with inventory needs Shipments move predictably with minimal surprises.
