**Job Summary**
We’re seeking passionate and energetic instructors to teach Coding, Robotics, and general STEAM activities to school-aged children. If you love working with kids and have a background in tech or education, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference while doing what you love.
**Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in coding, robotics, and other STEAM topics.
- Teach small groups in-person and/or online using provided curriculum and resources.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
- Set up and maintain equipment (e.g., laptops, robotics kits).
- Communicate with parents and supervisors regarding student progress and class updates.
- Provide feedback for continuous curriculum improvement.
**Requirements**
- Experience in teaching or working with children (formal or informal).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Scratch, Python, Blockly) and educational robotics platforms (e.g., LEGO, micro:bit, Arduino, VEX).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for STEAM education and hands-on learning.
- Reliable transportation for in-person sessions (if applicable).
- Criminal record check (or willingness to obtain).
**Nice to Have**
- Background in education, computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with tools like Tinkercad, Makey Makey, or 3D printing.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
