We currently have an opening in **Mississauga, ON** for a:
**Project Administrator**
**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Provide assistance to the Project Manager and other site staff for specific project-related requirements.
- Maintain the filing system for project correspondence and ensure filing is current.
- Liaise with the site team for the purchase of materials for site use. Administer the Purchase Order System using the Viewpoint Software.
- Match packing slips with purchase orders, verify quantities, billing amounts, and cost code allocation.
- Assist in the preparation of Subcontractor and Supplier Payments and liaise with the Accounts Payable Department to expedite the payment process.
- Develop the submission log for the project and administer the shop drawing review and approval process. Keep submittal log record current.
- Follow-up receipt of the required documents from Subcontractors.
- Prepare draft and final Operation and Maintenance Manuals for the project.
- Prepare a draft of letters of invitation for preconstruction tenders.
- Prepare and issue Subcontracts based on signed and accepted Letters of Intent.
- Maintain master document control list for the duration of design-build projects.
- Arrange to print, organize and distribute project documents to the project team and preconstruction department at project start-up.
**Education and Experience**:
- Minimum of High School education with administration, business, or accounting-related courses.
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative role.
- Strong computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
**Working Conditions**:
This position is office based with occasional visits to job sites as needed.
