**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee the A/P and A/R accounting process and ensure accuracy and record keeping
- Manage electronic payment systems, wire transfers, and other treasury-related transactions
- Carry out day to day operational accounting processes
- Undertake all banking related tasks, including but not limited to payable, daily financial entries and reconciliations
- Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash flow and accounts.
- Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring proper documentation and categorization in the accounting system.
- Asist with year-end audits
- Assist with portfolio management, trust accounting, lender statements, and other related inquires.
- All other hoc projects, tasks and responsibilities required by the Company, and other parties.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees
- Occasional US border crossing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and payroll processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
