**Status**:Full time (permanent)

**Schedule**: Shift work based on weekly schedules, weekdays and weekends

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for guiding, coordinating, training and leading the F&B team in all areas of front of house service for all outlets such as the restaurant, room service and banquets. They are to assist and oversee all areas of F&B operation and complete administrative duties as assigned.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Support F&B team with daily operations.
- Lead and assist staff with daily service in the Restaurant, Room Service, Banquets and Bar.
- Assist & oversee all banquet functions.
- Implement up selling programs and promotions to help increase revenue.
- Assist all guests as required providing excellent customer service
- Ensure all beverage service is in accordance with the Smart Serve Program.
- Conduct product knowledge training, e.g. wine and food pairing.
- Oversee training of new staff
- Enforce and adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and standards.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to multi-task while remaining calm under pressure.
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
- Smart Serve required, Food handler’s certificate an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
